• PERFORMANCE - H.I.D. Headlamps provide three times more lumen output than a standard halogen H4 headlamp system. XSighting Lighting H.I.D. Headlamps utilize a single H.I.D. light source to provide both low and high beam functions (we call this bi-function technology). The beam pattern is very intense, very wide, and significantly improves the rider’s ability to see and to be seen.
• REDUCED CURRENT DRAW – XSighting Lighting H.I.D. Headlamps operate at 35 watts or 2.73 amps in both low and high beam functions. Standard H4 halogen headlamps operate at 55 watts in low beam and 60 watts in high beam and draw 4.3 and 5.1 amps respectively in low and high beam functions. Küryankyn has teamed with XSighting Lighting to bring H.I.D. Lighting to Harley-Davidson's® Touring models. We designed an extension ring for the stock headlight housing to create enough room to house the XSighting H.I.D. lamp and ballast assembly. The extension ring is beautifully chrome plated and blends so well you won't even know it didn't come through from the factory. Installation is straight forward and easily done with common hand tools.
